Oregon State University Programs

The Rural Studies Program has created an online resource of Community Indicators for each of the 36 counties in Oregon.
Master Gardener Program If you have gardening questions, call the Master Gardeners at (503) 842-3433. We also encourage you to bring in plant or insect specimens.
4-H Youth Development Program
The Tillamook County 4-H program is open to all youth in grades K-12:
- Youth in grades 4th -12th may join 4-H project or community clubs, which are led by volunteer leaders, or may join as independent members.
- Youth in grades K-3 may participate in the 4-H Adventures program. This non-competitive, group-oriented program allows youth to explore many topics such as natural resources, the community, foods, science, art and more.
- After school programs, day camps, short-term programs, and special events are also ways youth can get involved in 4-H.
Water Resources & Community Development Program
The Sea Grant Extension Water Resources Program provides water-related education, training, and technical assistance to citizens, property owners, businesses, community leaders, and organizations. Focus areas include water quality, watershed and aquatic ecosystem health, non-point source pollution prevention, and water conservation.
